Timbaland Apologizes To Jay-Z

Since Jay-Z  released his new album, Magna Carta Holy Grail, he and Timbaland have been talking about their former fallout and how they have patched things up!
In an interview with Zane Lowe from BBC Radio 1, Jay-Z spilled all the tea about his former feud with Timbaland. Basically, in 2009 when Jay-Z and Timbaland were working on The Blueprint III album ego's got in the way and the two weren't seeing eye to eye.  In the interview below at the 9:26 mark  Jay-Z stated,

"The fallout happened at the end of that album. A couple of songs were getting leaked, and it just ruined that whole process. Kanye [West] was like 'let's get Tim in' [for Magna Carta Holy Grail], we were all inviting him and he just wasn't accepting to the process. It seemed like it was more about him than the actual album. When you make an album you have to put all egos aside for the sake of the project. That was almost like a last-straw type of thing and we went our separate ways."

Timbaland decided to give his two cents on the feud as well in a REVOLT interview.  He stated that the feud was,  "personal stuff unrelated to the industry." He even missed Jay-Z's 40th birthday party due to the feud. However, Timbaland discusses that he penned an apology track along side Keri Hilson to apologize to Jay-Z and he admitted he was wrong.

All friendships go through rough patches, but if its a genuine friendship it will come back together eventually. Sometimes you just have to admit you were wrong and put your pride aside. We are so happy that these two did just that, because you can tell they missed each other!
