Well, well, well! It looks like Monica Lewinsky isn't such a big fan of Beyonce's "Partition" song. In a recent interview with Vanity Fair, Ms. Lewinsky decides to correct King Bey's lyrics referencing her encounter with former President Bill Clinton.
Monica Lewinsky recently did an exclusive interview with Vanity Fair entitled "Shame and Survival," discussing her affair with Bill Clinton and how her life has been for the past 10 years. In the interview, Lewinsky admits that she "deeply regrets" what happened between her and the former President and that after 10 years of silence, it's time to "stop tiptoeing around my past—and other people’s futures."
In one section of the interview, Ms. Lewinsky writes about "Correcting the Record." This is where she tries to throw some slight shade in Beyonce's direction lol!
In the hit record, Beyonce rhymes:
"Now my mascara runnin', red lipstick smudgedOh he so horny, yeah he want to fuckHe popped all my buttons and he ripped my blouseHe Monica Lewinski'd all on my gown"
Monica replied by saying:
“Thanks, Beyoncé, but if we’re verbing, I think you meant ‘Bill Clinton’d all on my gown,’ not ‘Monica Lewinsky’d.’”
OOP! We guess it's apparent that she feels some type of way LOL! We really don't think Beyonce meant anything by that line. It just flows with the song and the rest of the lyrics. Monica knows that she is used as a reference in tons of songs and other entertainment forms so why would she even dare to respond to Beyonce of all people?!
BUT we know Beyonce always keeps it CLASSY, so don't hold your breath on a response from the King!
Side SASS: Monica's full interview will be available May 8, 2014.
