Our June SASS DOLL is definitely chasing her dreams one day at a time! She's the CEO of Dream Girls Mentoring Program, Inc., has two degrees, and definitely go-getter if we have ever seen one before! Ladies and gentlemen...meet Tamira Dunn!
Tell us a little about yourself! (50 words or less)
My name is Tamira Dunn. Im 27 years old from Baltimore, MD. I attended Morgan State University where I received a Bachelors Degree in Psychology and I recently graduated from University of Baltimore with a Masters Degree in Human Service Administration. I am a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc. (z phi :-)) I have a true passion for community service so most likely you can find me volunteering at various community events in my area. I enjoy shopping of course and spending time with those who are close to me.
What makes you Bold, Classy, & Oh So Sassy?
Hmmm...good question lol. I would say my dedication makes me bold, classy and oh so sassy. Being dedicated to your work and the work that you are passionate about is hard but the outcome is remarkable. To be able to touch people's lives and give back to those who need it the most really makes everything worth it.
What's your favorite quote?
My favorite quote is "Be the change you wish to see in the world" by Mahatma Ghandi
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
In five years I see the Dream Team expanding to at least two other cities. I also see myself branching off to do some motivational speaking engagements. I would love to have DR. in front of my name soon :-)
What's one thing you can't live without?
I can't live without my faith in God. Without that I have nothing.
One place in the world you would love to visit?
I would love to visit the Dominican Republic. I heard its beautiful there.
What makes you smile in life?
Life itself makes me smile! Knowing that everyday God gives me another chance I can make a difference in the lives of others.
If you ruled the world, what would you change?
I would change the way people viewed community service. Everyone wants to change something in the world but not enough people want to be that change. Spend an hour one Saturday just giving back. Don't complain about what needs to be changed if you aren't willing to change yourself.
If you could have a superpower, what would be your superpower?
I wish I could snap my fingers and add more time to the clock. Its never enough hours in the day so if I had superpowers it would be to add more time to the clock LOL.
