|SASSY SNACKS| Leopard Print Cupcakes

Who doesn't love leopard print ?! We know we do! So when we came across this amazing recipe for Leopard Print Cupcakes by we knew we had to share! These cute little treats will definitely add a dash of SASS to your next event! 


(2¼ ) Stick butter
(1¼ cup) Sugar
(1 tsp) Vanilla extract
(4) Eggs
(2 cups) Flour
Food coloring (Pink, Black, and Light Pink)
Pillsbury Frosting ( Bright Pink and Vanilla frosting)


1. Use cake mixer to mix  2¼ stick softened butter and 1¼ cup sugar and let beat on high speed for roughly 5-6 minutes.

2. Once the ingredients are light and fluffy add in 4 eggs and 1 cup flour and mix on medium setting.

3.After all ingredients are mixed in add in the rest of the flour and mix with a spoon or spatula.
Add in light pink food coloring as this will be your base color.

4. Once you have mixed up your homemade cake mix you will separate the mix into 3 bowls.  Bowl #1 will be the base mix color, Bowl #2 will be bright pink, and Bowl #3 will be black.  Once all 3 colors are mixed up place each color in a disposable bag and cut the tips off as these will be our tools for filling the cupcake liners.

5. In a muffin tin place 12 cupcake liners and fill bottom of all liners with light pink color.

6.Strategically place black “spots” throughout the cupcakes in the middle, on the sides, wherever you want.  Go crazy with those black spots just don’t let them touch.  On top of the black spots place hot pink spots to create the leopard spots.  Feel free to add some hot pink spots alone as well.

7.Cover the spots up with a layer of based frosting again and repeat the spots.

8.Bake in oven at 350 degrees for 15 minutes and once down allow to cool before frosting.

9.Place each color in one piping bag with a closed star tip to create the rosette swirl on top.Starting in the middle of the cupcake squeeze lightly to dispense frosting and twirl the frosting around the cupcake in a rose like manner.
